Another Week at Sam's
We were planning to leave Sam's on Saturday, April 16th but decided to stay another week. We procrastinated getting the new Maine registration and plates for the truck and rv we purchased in Arizona back in March.
Also, there were some troubles with delivery of the new generator I ordered last week from the Lowe's store in Palm Springs. It was supposed to arrive at the store on Thursday, and the online record said it had been delivered. We drove to the store only to find that it wasn't there yet, it was supposed to arrive that night. I called them the next day to be sure it was there before I made the drive to the store. It still wasn't there and it turned out that they didn't know when it would arrive. I went around and around with a store person trying to get a definite date for delivery. Finally, I said the hell with it and cancelled the order. For our next stop we plan to boondock in Arizona. Looks like we'll be doing so without a generator.
