Boondocking at Saddle Mountain BLM

We left Sam's on April 23rd and drove to BLM land close to Saddle Mountain in Tonapah, Arizona.  We planned to fill our tanks with water before we got here, but we read the directions wrong and got off an exit too early in a place where there were no services whatsoever.  We made do overnight and Mike went into town today to pick up some gallons of water.  At this point, it seemed easier than moving the whole rv.

Last night, the 23rd, was our first ever time boondocking in the new rv: no hookups of any kind.  Other than a van that parked up the road late last night and was gone early this morning, there's no one around.  It's just us and the desert.  It feels strange after spending the last two months in an rv park with neighbors close by.

Right now, I'm sitting on the couch with Siris lying here beside me. It's almost full dark and the just past full moon won't rise for about another hour or so.  Mike is on his way home from the store with food and water.  The curtains on the rv are all up, I've got two of the solar lanterns on, and a light wind is blowing in through the open windows.  It's cooling off some from the heat of the day, but it's not anywhere near cold.

We're planning to be here for about a week, if our solar panels are sufficient to keep our phones, hot spot, and computers charged.
