Big news: we put the Maine house up for sale a few weeks ago. We had no idea whether it would sell immediately or languish on the market. Fortunately, we got an acceptable offer within a week. Now, there's a series of things that needs to happen before the deal can close. All the systems up and running (the house is currently winterized--no electricity, no water), the heat pump and all other systems need to be operational after they're turned on (the heat pump is not operational due to some kind of glitch), and the house needs to assess at a level consistent with the buyers' loan amount. Fingers crossed.
